SOUL Journey Program Model
The program consists of four retreats, each of 5 days duration and spread across 18 months starting July 7th 2025. The subsequent retreats will be held in Jan 2026, July 2026 and January 2027.

WAKING
Waking up to the process of spiritual formation to discover who you are in Christ and how he seeks to meet you and transform you.
Waking up to the principles of spiritual guidance and how spiritual direction functions
WALKING
Walking into spiritual rhythms that align your life for transformation. Walking into the practice of spiritual guidance with others in TRIADS.
Learning the art of listening, asking discerning questions with help of Holy Spirit.
WRESTLING
Wrestling with issues of brokenness, suffering and captivity and discovering how God uses these moments to shape us spiritually.
Wrestling with how to process pain in the lives of others we lea, seeking to learn the transformational work God is doing in their lives.
WORKING
Working towards a transformational strategy in your ministry and life settings. Discovering how to help others in spiritual formation
Working as a spiritual guide with other ministry leaders

HOW IT WORKS
How Soul Journey Works?
Each module challenges and inspires in equipping you to walk confidently in the faith and calling.
FOCUS
Soul journey focuses on instruction and learning experiences, along with reading assignments and participation in “group spiritual direction” in between retreats.
- Training in Spiritual Formation: In the midst of ministry demands many leaders fail to tend to their own inner journey, overlooking the rhythms that lead to health. At the Academy we will assist the leader in recovering an understanding and experience of how to do the inner work necessary to maintain spiritual health.
- Training in Spiritual Direction: Most leaders have never discovered the value of a spiritual director or “soul friend.” At the Academy we will experience the art of spiritual guidance as we learn to listen and shepherd in ways that are Spirit-led. Participation in “group spiritual direction” between retreats will help strengthen this practice in our lives.
- Application to Ministry Setting: Academy participants will acquire a lens from which to view the overall development of spiritual formation and direction in their ministry setting back home. Together we will seek to turn learning into transformational application.
TIMING SCHEDULE
This cohort will meet four times over the course of 2 years. Each retreat will be 5 days in length. Participants are asked to commit to all four gatherings as each learning experience builds on the other.
There will be a “Ramp-Up” for each retreat that will require reading 1 or 2 assigned books and two Zoom Meetings. And each retreat will be followed by a similar “Ramp-Down” to further process and apply the learnings of the retreat.
The date for the first retreat is 07 – 11 July 2025. Participants should plan to arrive Jyoti Niketan at Indore by 6th July evening

What is the SOUL Journey Curriculum?
